33 Bottles of Wine - Limited White Wine Edition

$5.00

Sold Out

NOTE: This book was a one-time release with a special white ink design on the cover of my standard wine journal. I recently debuted a journal specifically-designed for white wines, which is an open edition available year-round.

Why Should Red Wine Get All the Attention?

Bordeaux, Pinot Noir, Cabernet ... they're all great wines. But I like a little variety in my life, and my wine. That's why I decided to print a short run of these white wine-inspired covers for my standard "33 Wines" book. Same interior contents, but with a brighter, fresher cover design (which contains a little white wine in the ink, too). It pairs exceptionally well with poultry, fish, and ... your favorite vintage Sauternes!

This special edition of 33 Wines is the same easy-to-use pocket wine journal you know and love, printed in a unique limited run with a white wine-inspired cover.

Supplies are Limited

I only produced 12 cases of these books, and I won't print it again, so if you like the look of this book, order quickly.

As with the standard 33 Wines, the flavor wheel on each interior page can be used to quickly recall a wine’s unique flavor long after consumption. For low values of the flavor, fill in dots near the wheel’s center. A Chardonnay is used in the example shown.

Secret Ingredient

A teeny, tiny amount of real white wine has been added to the ink in this edition, which is cryptically noted on the back of the book.

Eco-Friendly

33 Wines is made with 100% recycled papers sourced in the Pacific Northwest. Interior pages are 100% post-consumer recycled content and covers are 85% post-consumer recycled content and 15% recycled content. The booklets are printed using US-grown soy-based inks in sunny Portland, Oregon. A teeny, tiny amount of wine is added to the ink in each edition, noted on the back.

Love it!

This book is exactly what I want. The flavor wheel is detailed enough that you can accurately describe the wine you are drinking. It is the perfect size to take with you, while still leaving enough room for notes and other extra things you would like to add. I love wine, and I am constantly trying new ones, so it is extremely helpful to have a place where I can keep track of my favorites (and least favorites). I also love to share the experience with the people in my life, and being able to write who I was with and what they thought is a great way for me to remember good times we have had together. If you are like me and you love trying new wines and love sharing the experience with people, you will most likely love this book! I have already filled up two of them and will probably always have one with me.

This would be better as an app.

I like your booklet, but would greatly prefer it as an app. There isn't a good wine tasting app of this nature that you can use to help track the different things you've had, and help you discover your preferences. There is a good one for beer, Untappd. But, this is the closest thing i can find to that.

I get that suggestion a lot, Tom! The short version of my answer is that I come from a web background (made my first site in 1997 or so), so for me making things with paper and ink is a nice change of pace from my pixel-pushing days. To me, writing feels less anti-social than sticking your nose in a phone while tasting with friends, and more of a sensory experience. To each his own, I say!
